The Kansas City-based worship leader and singer/songwriter always had a song in her heart. Even from a young age, you would’ve heard her belting out anything from oldies radio and Amy Grant, to CMT. Early on was when she met Christ, during a worship service. It was the songs sung about God, which stuck in her head that stirred her to seek after Him. Soon, a growing desire to lead others in that same experience surpassed all other pursuits.
Lesley now serves as a worship leader at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, Missouri, where she has called home for the last 7 years. Ultimately, she desires to see the Church grow in love for Christ and longs to inspire others to know Him through proclaiming His beauty in song.
Outside of the church’s four walls, Lesley and her husband work with children in foster care, and have a desire to see the fatherless come into the family of God and for the church to walk in what James 1:27 calls “pure and undefiled religion”.
What Lesley enjoys most is doing life with her best friend and husband Austin, and taking care of their small homestead, complete with dog, and 8 chickens.
